Local Attorney Mark A. Falvo from Clearfield was the founder and the inspiration behind the Legal Eagle Program. Both will be honored by the Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Council for with a 2008 PCSS President's Award at the annual PCSS Conference October 16-18th in Gettyburgh.

Curwensville Area fifth grade Legal Eagle participants, recently learned what to do when a disaster strikes, Rich Hallstrom, chief of the Clearfield County Hazardous Material Response Team, left, told students how the team responds to hazardous material spills as Mark Falvo, Young Lawyers Association, crawled into a hazardous material suit. Sergeants Joe Zelenzky, Clearfield Borough Police, also spoke to the students about the police department's duties during a disaster.

She said she teaches the resident how to develop healthy relationships. Warden Sam Lombardo, left, told the students to listen to their parent and teachers to they wont't need to listen to him. "If you're listening to me. you're in trouble." The programs are coordinated by Mark Falvo, in back, of the Young Lawyers Association and by Crimestoppers.
