Legal Eagles visit -- Lisa Redden, Clearfield County Adult Probation and Parole Services, recently described her job during a Curwensville Elementary fifth grade Legal Eagle program. She said the judge decides if a person serves probation of is eligible for home detention. Criminal offenders as young as 10 years old are allowed to be on probation. The judge tries not to takekids out of their home and school, she said. Many juvenile offenders are sent to juvenile facilities.
